The Challoner Club has a formal dress code which it expects all ladies and gentleman, whether Members or Guests, to follow at our events.

For gentleman, a suit, or a jacket with tailored trousers, with a collared shirt, neck tie (bow tie acceptable), and formal shoes.

For ladies, dresses, smart separates, a suit, or a jacket with formal trousers, and formal shoes.

For members with disabilities or injuries which make wearing a certain item of clothing difficult, provisions will be made, provided this is communicated to the Club beforehand.

It is the responsibility of a Member, who is welcoming a guest to an event of the Challoner Club, to ensure that their guest follows the Club’s dress code. Members, or their guests, who do not adhere to this dress code will be polietly asked to leave.
